At the beginning of its activities, NelStar acquired breeders and embryos of recognized lineages, which formed the base of its stock and generated high quality products. In order to achieve recognition of its products, within the context of a competitive market of purebred Nelore cattle, these products were taken to evaluation in livestock shows and exhibitions, during several years.
NelStar received several awards, participating in livestock trials in Uberaba, São José do Rio Preto, São João da Boa Vista, Mococa, among others. In addition, NelStar has registered its products in weight tests with some of its partners, like Fazenda Andorinha and also with CRV Lagoa, for some years, always resulting in recognition of its products.
The apex of the awards and recognition of its products occurred when there was the contracting of NelStar’s bull Bruto Fiv by Nova Índia center, the highest position sought by a breeder. It was the greatest recognition of the quality of NelStar products.
